LOOP Mission

The LOOP Mission story

LOOP Mission is a pioneering Quebec-based company founded by Julie Poitras-Saulnier and David Côté with a mission to put an end to food waste.

Every year, tons of perfectly edible fruits and vegetables are discarded simply because they don’t meet the beauty standards imposed by the food industry. This prompted the founders of LOOP Mission to seek a sustainable and innovative solution.

Their innovative approach involves rescuing these fruits and vegetables, often destined for the trash, and transforming them into delicious juices, beers, and sodas full of flavors and nutrients. This creates a virtuous cycle in which food products that would have been wasted are reused, thus reducing waste and preserving natural resources.

This business model is rooted in the principles of the circular economy. Instead of adopting a linear approach where foods are thrown away after their initial use, LOOP Mission closes the loop by transforming these products into juices that are then offered to consumers. They also promote responsible consumption by raising public awareness of the importance of reducing food waste.

The power of a product video

As a videographer specializing in content with a positive social and environmental impact, I aimed to create a video that reflects the ethos of LOOP Mission: dynamic and vibrant.

The video quickly and visually showcases how certain fruits and vegetables end up as juice, focusing on the product packaging and maintaining a rhythmic pace.

The benefit of product video here is that you can show the juices in an interactive and visually appealing way.
